Promise of the Day: Boundless God

Blessings!

Today’s Promise is 2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV:

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

Devotion:

As Paul writes in the previous verses, serving the Lord begins with an eagerness or zeal. But it also requires preparation. Only God knows our purpose, and only He can reveal it to us, but we must seek Him and learn to know His voice. When we are in agreement with Him, He will provide everything we need to accomplish His purpose on earth. For every good work is of the Lord, not of ourselves.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, You are the source of my life strength. Help me quiet the noise in my head and the voice of the enemy and hear only You. Grant me the grace and strength to follow Your leading, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
