Promise of the Day: Our Strength

Blessings!

Today’s Promise is Psalm 29:11 NKJV:

“The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.”

Devotion:

There are times when I feel anything but strong. But, when I’m tempted to wonder how God could possibly use a weakling like me, I remember that He not only gives me strength, He is my strength. I can trust Him in this because He always keeps His Word. No matter how things may appear, perfect peace can be mine as I take Him at His Word and rest in Him. Are you resting in God’s strength?

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, please help me, in Jesus’ name, resist the enemy when I feel weak and less than adequate. Help me hide Your Word in my heart, that I might draw from Your well of life and stand strong in Your strength. Amen.
