Today’s Promise is Psalm 48:14 NKJV:
“For this is God,
Our God forever and ever;
He will be our guide
Even to death.”
Devotion:
The words, “You can trust me,” come easily to certain people. That’s usually a sign that you can’t trust them. Unfortunately, that’s what makes it hard for some people to trust God. But, while man was created in God’s likeness, it was man who failed God, not the other way around. God has always been, and remains to this day, faithful and true. We need never doubt that He is and ever will be our Guide on this journey called life, for He has promised to never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6), and we can trust in Him. Forever and ever.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, great is Your faithfulness! So let my faith be in You, in Jesus’ name. Let me never doubt that You are with me, guiding me, and that You will lead me home. Amen.
