Today’s Promise is Isaiah 2:3 NKJV:
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths.
For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”
Devotion:
Jesus has given us access to the house of God, and the Holy Spirit is our key. We no longer have to learn about God through the filters of other people. We can and are expected to go to the source with Jesus as our intermediary. With the Spirit of Truth as our guide, we can boldly go up to the mountain of the Lord, His seat of authority and power, for all we need to fulfill His purpose for our lives.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I surrender to You. Please cleanse me of all iniquity, in Jesus’ name, that I might climb Your holy hill and receive instruction and power from Jesus himself. Thank You for rending the veil and allowing me access to the Holy of Holies in Christ Jesus. Amen.
