Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Psalm 103:10, 11 NKJV:
“He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him.”
Devotion:
People are always asking, “If God is good, why does He let such bad things happen to people?”
But, when I think of all the pain I’ve caused my Father, and others, all the terrible and selfish things I’ve done in my life, my question is,
“If God is just, why does He bless me so much?” The answer, of course, is that He also merciful.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You so much for blessing me even though I fail You. Thank You for pouring out Your love to me, even though I break Your heart. Clothe me in Your Righteousness, Lord, in Jesus’ name, and cover me with Your grace, that I may live a life that is pleasing to You. And never let me forget Your goodness to me. Amen!
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
