Today’s Promise is 2 Corinthians 9:10 NKJV:
“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”
Devotion:
When I plant a seed in my garden, I will eventually get one plant from it–I hope. That one plant will produce a certain amount of fruit, which will in turn produce more seed–I hope. Now, the Master Gardener’s thumb is much greener than mine. Not only will He supply seeds for His Kingdom for me to plant and everything needed for both myself and the crop, He will multiply the seeds after they are sown, growing even more fruit and producing even more seed! I love my garden, but nothing compares to the thrill of Kingdom gardening!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me to sow all the seed You provide, in Jesus’ name. Let me not waste one kernel. Multiply my fruit, Lord, and help my life be a testimony to Your green thumb. Amen.
