Today’s Promise is Ephesians 3:10-12 CJB:
“This plan, kept hidden for ages by God, the Creator of everything, is for the rulers and authorities in heaven to learn, through the existence of the Messianic Community, how many-sided God’s wisdom is. This accords with God’s age-old purpose, accomplished in the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord.”
Devotion:
God’s plan of Salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, was not only to save us, but to show His enemies the vastness of His wisdom through His people. The first display of this came on the Day of Pentecost, when a group of His faithful followers were unified, with Him, and with one another, enabling the power of the Holy Spirit to move freely through them. His power manifested in various signs and wonders, not just for a day, but throughout their lives. Their boldness and confidence amazed people. God’s plan hasn’t changed. We are still to be constant reminders to the enemy that God is God. We are to be the vessels through which God speaks and moves. That is our destiny and our heritage. Are you fulfilling your destiny?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, pour out Your Spirit on me, in Jesus’ name! Open my eyes to see, and my ears to hear what You are doing and saying in Heaven. Then grant me the boldness to do the same on earth, that all the armies of the enemy may see You alive in me, and tremble. All to Your glory. Amen.
