Today’s Promise is Joel 2:19 NKJV:
“The Lord will answer and say to His people,
‘Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil,
And you will be satisfied by them;
I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.'”
Devotion:
This is what the Lord promises to the nation who will “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” (Joel 2:12) Only the overwhelming love of God can bring true repentance. Only His overwhelming love can comfort and restore us. It is our Father’s desire to pour out His blessing on the people who will receive His love and forgiveness and live for Him. Let us pray that our nations will repent and receive!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, touch my heart, in Jesus’ name, and help me to truly receive the love you offer. I pray this for all Your children, that we all may be changed and receive Your fullness, and have the power to love as You love–with all we have. Amen.
