“He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.”
Devotion:
In spite of the fact that the stock market has a history of collapsing, people still invest their hard-earned money in it. God has given us the key to financial security. His favorite investment? People. The more we bless others, the more God blesses us–so the more we can bless others. And, all the while, we’ll be storing up for ourselves treasures in Heaven. You can’t take gold with you when you die. They already have all they need there. The only thing you can take with you into eternity is people.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for opening the heavens to me, that I may always have an abundance of whatever I need to sow into Your Kingdom and bless the lives of the people You love so dearly. Grant me a giving heart, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
