Today’s Promise is John 15:28 CJB:
“When the Counselor comes, whom I will send you from the Father — the Spirit of Truth, who keeps going out from the Father — he will testify on my behalf.”
Devotion:
I’m so glad we don’t have to figure God out all by ourselves. As we allow the Holy Spirit to peel away more of us–our pride, fear, rebellion, self-delusion–the Holy Spirit reveals more of our Father to us, filling us with Him. And, the more He reveals, the more we are blown away, the more we crave Him, and the more we want to share. The wonderful thing about the flow of the Counselor from the Father, is that it never stops. There is so much of God to know, we will always have a fresh testimony to share. When it comes to life in the Spirit, there is never a dull moment.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Jesus said, “Ask and you will receive.” I am asking, Lord. Invade me with Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name, that I may see You and hear You, and have heavenly encounters and walk in the miraculous on earth. Give me a fresh testimony each day, that I might share with others who need to know that You are real and that Your love for them is true. Amen.
