Blessings!
Today’s Promise is 1 Peter 5:10 NKJV:
“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”
Devotion:
Notice that being perfected, established, strengthened, and settled come after we have suffered? It is by the trials of this life, that we learn that God is all-powerful, all-loving, and faithful to save. This is where our faith is established and we are strengthened. This is where we find peace. So, when you feel caught between a rock and a hard place, press in to the Rock and praise Him for the glorious work He is doing in you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the for the trials in my life, in Jesus’ name. I may not like them, or understand them, but I believe that You will use everything in my life to strengthen and grow my faith in You, making me a formidable weapon in Your hand. I believe that, as I praise You in each storm, I am being transformed into Your likeness from glory to glory, and through me, the world will know You are the good and merciful God. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
Rebecca
