Today’s Promise is 2 Chronicles 15:2 NKJV:
“The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.”
Devotion:
This Word was spoken by the very Spirit of God. When things get rough, people often ask, “Where is God in all this?” That question is easily answered by another question: “Where am I?” If we are abiding in the Lord, soaking daily in His Spirit and His Word, we can rest assured that God is standing in the midst of the furnace with us, deflecting the flames and bringing us safely through the other side. And our Father does not hide Himself away from us. When we set our hearts on finding Him, He will reveal Himself. And, unless we walk away from Him, He will remain with us forever.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, abide in me as I abide in You. Let me hear You calling me each morning, in Jesus name, and let Your Word fill my dreams. Help me keep my desire for You burning strong, that I might never let You go. Amen.
