Promise of the Day: Take Your Seat

Take Your Seat

Today’s Promise is Ephesians 2:4-6 NKJV:

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

Take Your Seat

This isn’t future tense. Paul didn’t say, “will make us sit.” We are alive with Christ, and we are seated in the Throne Room. So many believers deny this truth because it is more comfortable to wait for something to happen than it is to make it happen. This is why the church has no power today. The spirit realm is waging war on the church. War in the heavenlies. Only by rising above, to the Throne of God, can we prevail and establish God’s Kingdom on earth. This is what Christ died to give us. A seat in the Holy of Holies. Have you asked Jesus to show you to your seat?

Heavenly Father, You are merciful! Thank You for loving me so greatly! Please forgive my sin and cleanse me of all iniquity,  in Jesus’ name, that I might kneel before Your throne and walk with You always. That I may become the warrior You created me to be, taking all the territory You have given me. Amen.

Have a victorious day in the Lord!
