Today’s Promise is Psalm 43:5 CJB:
“My soul, why are you so downcast? Why are you groaning inside me? Hope in God, since I will praise him again for being my Savior and God.”
Devotion:
The enemy loves to steal our joy by trying to get us focused on our circumstances. But Jesus overcame the world, and made us over-comers in Him. As Peter learned, walking on the water, it takes discipline to stay focused on the big picture. Jesus is our big picture. Only He can put a smile on our face, when life is not so rosy, for His light makes our troubles fade away. He is our victory!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, let Your praises be always on my lips, in Jesus’ name, that I may remember that You are in control–and You love me. Amen.
