Today’s Promise is Acts 2:46, 47 NKJV:
“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
Devotion:
Here is the secret to lasting revival. “Continuing daily with one accord.” A better translation would be “one mind.” But whose mind? None other than the mind of Christ, which is doing the will of the Father. When the Church gives herself over wholly to God, not just once or twice a week, but continually when she can be completely immersed in worship instead of watching the clock or critiquing the pastor, worship team, or the person in the next seat, then she will see Heaven and earth move with the supernatural power of the Risen Christ, and people will come in droves. But it has to start with someone. Will you be the spark of revival in your congregation?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I pray as Your Son prayed that we may be one as You are one. Unify us in Your love, by Your Spirit, Lord, for only Your love can change the hearts of man. Begin with me. Give me a new heart, that I might be a vessel to carry Your glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
