Blessings, Prayer Warriors!
Halloween is rapidly approaching, and our family has been getting flack from the enemy camp since I announced our prayer vigil!
Of course, there’s the usual voice of the enemy telling us, “You don’t want to stay up all night praying. You need your rest!” But, when I hear this, I remember Jesus’ words to Peter in the Garden of Gethsemane.
“What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” Matthew 26:40-41 NKJV.
We’ve also encountered the enemy’s usual weapons: fatigue, pain, cold symptoms, difficulty concentrating, irritability, miscommunication to cause strife in the family…But, we have been warriors for some time and have learned that praise and worship easily defeat such attacks. The last attempt at derailment came with the threat of unemployment, if my husband does not get vaccinated.
To that I say, “Praise the Lord!”
Obviously, the enemy sees us as a huge threat! But God is in control, and all this testing will only result in our spiritual growth and God’s glory! And, that’s not all!
Last night, my daughter, a great prayer warrior and seer herself, received a night vision. In it, our garden had exploded with giant fruits and vegetables, and the harvest was more than we could handle! But a husband and wife came to help us gather it in, and soon we were joined by our spiritual children, all working to bring in the harvest! The husband was also pulling up giant weeds that were trying to take over the garden. The weeds had very shallow roots and were dying even before he got them out of the ground! That is exactly what this prayer vigil is all about, routing the enemy from our territories!
This husband and wife represent those who are helping us in our ministry, through prayer, encouragement, and even monetary means. It was a wonderful reminder that we are not in this alone. God bless you, all of our supporters!
I just want you to know, that this isn’t just this ministry’s harvest. It is all of ours! All who sow into God’s Kingdom! All who take up the Sword of Truth and fight for the territories God has given us!
Be encouraged! The victory is ours! Join us in prayer on Halloween night and let the Lord be your strength.
The Witching Hour
Contrary to what we are told, midnight is not the “witching hour.” Three a.m. is when the enemy is at his most active. This is done specifically to blaspheme the Holy Trinity. So, let your voices be heard in the Heavens this Halloween. Call forth the hosts of Heaven to make war on the enemies of God, and bring in the harvest!
I leave you with one more word my daughter shared with me, which brought tears to my eyes. She said that, as we gathered in the harvest, she told me, “We are finally on time for Sukkot.”
Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles, is the last Appointed Time to be fulfilled in God’s timeline. It comes five days after Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and it will continue through the Millennial Reign of Jesus. It is a celebration of the gathering of the harvest and God’s provision and protection. It is the time we will all gather in the New Jerusalem to worship our Lord and King.
See you in Jerusalem!
God’s grace and peace be yours,
