I’m sending out an urgent prayer request to all my faithful prayer warriors. Early Saturday morning as I waited on the Lord, I had a very detailed vision.
The Vision:
I found myself towering over Europe. I’m not sure if my feet were planted on the U.S., the Atlantic Ocean, or the U.K., but I was facing eastward and I was so tall, I could see all of Europe clearly. As I looked down on the land, my shadow spread over Russia, engulfing it completely. Then I saw a giant pickax in my right hand. I lifted the pickax high above my head and drove its point deep into the heart of Russia. Then the vision ended.
I had spent the night before warring in the spirit with a giant silver sword, so I’m believing the two incidents are connected. God is going to move in Russia.
I know several things are in the news about Russia right now, and I feel led to circle the wagons and intercede, so I ask you all to pray fervently for Russia. If you don’t know what to pray, let the Holy Spirit pray through you. And, if you feel led, fast as well.
The Warning:
This morning, I also had several warning dreams about coming demonic attacks, and I believe these were meant for all intercessors who stand in the gap for Russia. So, please, humble yourselves before the Lord and seek His guidance, discernment, and faith. We are not strangers to the wiles of the devil, and we have been given the Holy Spirit and the Hosts of Heaven to war on our behalf, but we must be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” in our warfare (Matt. 10:16). For the battle is not ours, but the Lord’s.
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” Ephesians 6:11-13.
Two specific spirits that I was warned about were the spirits of interference and the spirit of anger. Now, the enemy always strikes at our individual weaknesses, so you may be up against other spirits. I just encourage you to be on guard and alert for any signs of meddling that will keep you from your intercession and call on the Lord to send backup.
And, as we pray for Russia, let us lift one another up in prayer. When we stand together with the Lord leading the way, there isn’t anything we can’t accomplish.
“Yeshua looked at them and said, ‘Humanly, this is impossible; but with God everything is possible’” Matthew 19:26 (CJB).
