Are You Prepared for the Outbreak?

are you prepared for the pandemic?

Blessings Friends,

(This was an article I posted in January of 2017. The Lord recently reminded me of this dream when news of the Coronavirus and flu outbreaks hit the news. So, I’m re-posting this for our new family members and anyone who missed it the first time.)

I just wanted to pass on a word the Lord has given me concerning an upcoming outbreak in order that you may be prepared and covered.

Last night I dreamed about a great sickness which struck. I apologize for the graphic imagery, but everywhere I looked, people were vomiting violently. It was horrible.

I didn’t remember the dream until I was up in my prayer room this morning on my face before the Lord. As all the images came back to me, I said to the Lord, “This is awful! What can I do about this?”

In response, He showed me the lake where I first saw Jesus about 30 years ago. At that time He was standing waist-deep in the water with His hands extended to me, and He said, “Come into the water and be healed.”

Now He showed me the lake again, and again I heard those words, “Come into the water and be healed.” I can be a little slow sometimes, so I pressed in for better understanding. Thankfully, the Lord is patient with me. He told me the water symbolized the Holy Spirit and His cleansing power.

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” Titus 3:5, 6

Just as the priests of the Temple had to cleanse their hands and feet in the laver before going near the altar, or the Holy of Holies, so we must submit to the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, to enter into and remain in God’s presence and be fully protected from the effects of sin on the earth.

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8

The Lord told me specifically that we not only need to be immersed in the Spirit, but to remain in the Spirit.

I want to say that it was not made clear if this outbreak is a literal sickness. It could very well be that the purging going on was spiritual in nature. I will continue to seek the Lord’s guidance about this. Regardless, it is vital for God’s people to be prepared.

So then, how do we remain immersed in the Holy Spirit?

Just as we nurture our immune systems by eating healthy things and avoiding unhealthy foods, getting sufficient rest, and exercise, so we see to our spiritual health by daily consuming God’s Word, eliminating worldly pollutants and distractions, not overloading our schedules, getting sufficient rest physically, mentally, and emotionally, and exercising our spiritual muscles by praying and worshiping without ceasing in the Spirit.

I can’t emphasize this last step enough. The word says,

“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7

And

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,  in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

One of the practices of those who are active in the gifts of the Spirit is that of constant prayer. I’m not saying we should walk around praying aloud in tongues, advertising our “holiness.” Prayer in the Spirit can be to yourself or spoken lowly if you’re alone or with people who are familiar with Spiritual prayer. When you find yourself waiting for someone or something, pray in the Spirit. As you calm your mind to go to sleep, pray in the Spirit. When you are in the tub or shower, or brushing your teeth, pray in the Spirit. You get the idea. You will be amazed at how it will affect your atmosphere—and attitude.

WARNING: This practice can unleash unimaginable supernatural power in your life, so expect the unexpected!

Singing in the Spirit is also amazing, but praying and worshiping in your own language can have just as powerful an effect. If you have not yet received your prayer language, by all means pray and worship in your native tongue, but I also encourage you to continue asking the Lord for this powerful gift of the Holy Spirit. You will be so blessed, and the Lord wants to bless you! If you would like me and my team to pray for you, please let me know. It would be our honor to pray for you!

In the mean time, press into the Lord, immerse yourself in the Spirit, and pray, pray, pray for the great and mighty things the Lord has planned for this season.

God’s grace and peace be yours,

Rebecca
