Blessings, Family,
I’m not a political activist. I intercede for our nations and our leaders as God has commanded us to do, believing that He alone sets up and tears down kingdoms. My realm of authority as an intercessor lies with the church, but if you’ve followed me awhile, you know that I have occasionally been given a prophetic dream or vision concerning certain people or nations, as my word concerning President Trump posted on November 11, 2016, and my vision for Russia, posted on February 25, 2017. That said, I feel led to share the following with you as I received them.
The Vision
On January 8, 2018, as I worshipped before the Lord in His Throne Room, I saw a great swirling storm of panic and confusion. I was informed that this was the American Democratic Party imploding on itself. It was chaos as they all fell, turning on each other as they went down, like a massive feeding frenzy. At the center of this storm was John F. Kennedy and some scandal concerning him.
I can’t tell you how vivid this vision was. But, at the time, I could not imagine what J.F.K. could possibly have to do with events of the twenty-first century. So, I didn’t feel it was the right time to share it with you. However, I recently had another dream which told me it was time.
Remember, while visions are usually literal and vivid, dreams are often very symbolic and need Holy Spirit revelation to discern.
The Dream
On January 14, 2021, I dreamed I stood with my daughter in the living room of the Bridegroom, talking with Him about our quickly approaching wedding. I looked to one corner of the room, and there stood a donkey. To the left and rear of the donkey was another object, which I can’t recall. To the right and front of the donkey was another object which I also can’t recall. As I wrote this dream out, seeking revelation, It was made clear that this donkey represented the American Democratic Party, and, being in the center, the Executive Branch of the United States’ Government. The other two objects represented the Judicial and Legislative Branches.
As I looked, bolts of blue lightning came up from the earth and arced beneath the three branches. Lightning is a symbol of supernatural power and revelation, and blue represents all things heavenly. So, this power was from God, but because it emanated from the earth, it is a sign of God working through men to accomplish His will and purpose.
I looked to the Bridegroom and asked if we should be concerned about this lightning, and He smiled and said, “Don’t worry.”
Then the lightning sparked fires beneath all three branches, and again I turned to the Bridegroom and asked if we should do something. He smiled and said, “It will take care of itself.” So, I continued to enjoy our visit. But the flames grew bigger, and I was concerned they would consume the Bridegroom’s house. I also didn’t want to see the donkey burned alive, so I removed it from the fire. When I did, I saw a huge pile of manure it had left behind. I said, “No wonder it’s burning so intensely. That is the fuel.”
As the flames grew more intense, I convinced the Bridegroom to take action to prevent the destruction of His house. I think He was just indulging me because the flames would not be extinguished, and I kept hearing, “Purifying fire! Purifying fire!”. The fire consumed everything we tried to smother it with, but we did manage to reduce it—somewhat. Finally, the Bridegroom convinced me to return to my home and let Him see to the fire. So, my daughter and I came home.
Stand Still
In the light of this vision and dream, this week has been confusing at best. Not that I doubt God’s voice. But, given the warnings of coming judgment, I see the mercy of God in these glimpses of a nation restored to God, and I am eager to see it fulfilled. As I have said before, as the United States goes, so goes the world.
When will this all take place? I wasn’t given that information. I may not be privy to God’s timeline in this instance, but I believe His Word does not return void. And, as I seek the Lord and intercede on behalf of His people, I hear two words again and again.
“Stand still!”
These are the words Moses spoke over the children of Israel when their backs were to the Red Sea, and the Egyptian army was bearing down on them.
“And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace” Exodus 14:13, 14.
This is the Word I leave you with, precious family. Do not lose heart. Do not trust in what your eyes see and your ears hear, but know that our God is sovereign, and He goes before us. Continue to pray for the United States, that God will forgive our grievous sins and have mercy on us. Continue to rejoice in His sovereignty. Then stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
God’s grace and peace be yours,
Rebecca
