Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.”
Devotion:
As creation proves, the spoken word has power. Not only do our mouths program our brains, but the words we speak create an atmosphere around those we speak to or about … and ourselves. In turn, this atmosphere will determine the reality in which we live. Regardless of the language of others, we have the power and authority through Christ to release life into the atmosphere through our words. Choose to speak life each day, and watch your attitude, the atmosphere–and your circumstances change.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me to think before I speak. Help me to speak life, in Jesus’ name, empowering Your Spirit in myself and others instead of empowering the enemy. Amen.
