Today’s Promise is 2 Corinthians 3:17 CJB:
“Now, ‘Adonai’ in this text means the Spirit. And where the Spirit of Adonai is, there is freedom.”
Devotion:
Liberty to do as we please? No, liberty to do as God pleases! Imagine, the Holy Spirit dwelling in us breaks all the chains that once kept us bound to sin and self-destruction. We are truly free when we remain in the Lord. Free to see what our Father is doing and hear what He is saying in Heaven. Free to do and say the same on earth. Free from the threat of death and hell. Free to live life to the fullest. Take hold of the promise and be free.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You, thank You, thank for loving me so much that You would give Your all to make me free. Help me to remain in You moment by moment, in Jesus’ name, that I might live this life to the fullest and glorify You in the living. Amen.
