Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Acts 3:25 NKJV:
“You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’”
Devotion:
Peter and John had just healed a man crippled from birth, before Peter spoke these words to an astonished crowd. He let them know that it was not by their own power that this healing took place, but by the power of the Risen Christ, whom these people had crucified. He reminded them that the events foretold by God’s prophets thousands of years before were now coming to pass. God’s Words do not return void. Peter prophesied over this crippled man, and the faith the man had in the word of God that Peter released healed him. This is how God planned to bless the families of earth. By establishing the lines of communication with His creation. Then, He could speak His words of power through His faithful, obedient servants, bringing healing and deliverance. For all who believe on Jesus Christ are “sons of the prophets” and called to prophesy in His name. Jesus died to gain us access to God because He wants to speak to us and through us, releasing His blessing to all who believe. Are you listening?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for restoring the lines of communication with me and all who believe. Grant me the discernment by Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name, to hear Your voice as I seek You each day, and the boldness to release Your Words over those who put their trust in You, that I may bless the families of earth. Amen.
