Today’s Promise is Hebrews 11:3 CJB:
“By trusting, we understand that the universe was created through a spoken word of God, so that what is seen did not come into being out of existing phenomena.”
Devotion:
Imagine. A God so full of love that the outward expression of that love created matter out of nothingness. Do you realize that it is only by God’s wonderful grace that we believe He created all things? We can research and study, and weigh the facts forever. But it is only because He loves us so very much that He has placed this knowledge in our hearts, that we should know in our inner most beings that He is God! This is an amazing gift. And, when we are filled with all His fullness, we will speak His love into the world, healing the sick, raising the dead, bringing Heaven’s realities to earth. Let us surrender to God’s love through faith in Jesus Christ, then let us speak His love, bringing life to the dead. Just as He did for us.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I can’t even fathom the depths of Your love for me. But I thank You with all of my heart for choosing me to reveal Your secrets to. Grant me more faith, in Jesus’ name, that I might know You even more, and that more may come to know You. Amen.
