Today’s Promise is Romans 5:9 NKJV:
“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”
Devotion:
Our God is a consuming fire. No sin can stand in the presence of His goodness. But He is also merciful, a refining fire that removes impurities by testing, strengthening our faith, and drawing us closer to His presence. This is a Father loving His children so much that He would sacrifice Himself to save them–from Himself. Now that is love. Are you embracing His refining fire?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love, burning away my impurities, yet saving my soul from destruction. Let Your fire be a light in me, in Jesus’ name, Lord, drawing people to You and Your Kingdom. Amen.
