Blessings!
Today’s Promise is James 5:15 NKJV:
“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
Devotion:
We often tell people we will pray for them, but do we stop and pray with them? And when we pray, do we pray believing God will do what we ask, or do we preface our prayers with “if it is Your will, Lord,” for fear of looking foolish if the prayer isn’t answered as we want it to be? Fortune doesn’t favor the bold, God does. The more we step out in faith and speak words of healing in Jesus’ name, the bolder we get. And the bolder we get, the more God favors us. It is God’s will that we pray for one another, believing in His power and goodness to answer our prayers. Pray with the authority Jesus died to give you and believe. You will be amazed by what God does through you–and in you!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I believe You are who You say You are! Please, forgive my lack of faith, in Jesus’ name, and help me to take You at Your Word and pray with power. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
Rebecca
