Today’s Promise is Romans 5:15 NKJV:
“But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.”
Devotion:
Because of the one act of one man, Adam, every human being to come after Adam was condemned to death. Yet, instead of carrying out the penalty for that one act, God sent His Son to pay that penalty. And not just for that one sin, but the millions of sins that would follow, once sin entered the world! As powerful as that one act of sin of Adam’s was, the one act of the Son of God was immensely more powerful. God’s grace is so much bigger than sin and death! It is so much more far-reaching than anything Satan or man can do! His grace can reach anyone. No matter how far they have fallen. No matter what they have done. God’s grace is greater. Never give up praying for the lost. Never give up hope. Trust in the abundance of God’s grace.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Your greatness amazes me. To the human eye, some people may seem beyond the reach of Salvation. But Your strong Right Hand reaches far, and Your grace abounds. I trust in You to reach the ones I love and all who are lost. Thank You for being greater than our sin. Amen.
