Today’s Promise is 2 John 1:3 NKJV:
“Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.”
Devotion:
John spoke this prophetic blessing over the Church, but the fulfillment of a prophetic word requires first that we come into agreement with the Word, and then align ourselves with God’s will through obedience. The key to the fulfillment of this prophecy lies in the last three words. “In truth and love.” Jesus is truth and love. When we remain in Him, committing His Word to heart and speaking it out, praying in the Spirit, and listening for Him, His grace, mercy, and peace will not only fill us, but flow freely to those around us, making them want what we have. Making them want to know Jesus.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are so good! Not only do You want to bless me with Your grace, mercy, and peace, but You want to have a real relationship with me! You want to reveal Your heart to me! And I so want to live in Your presence every day and night! Draw me deeper into Your Truth and Love, oh Lord, that I might be an expression of Your Truth and Love to all I meet, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
