Today’s Promise is Isaiah 7:9 NIV:
“If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.”
Devotion:
Like love, faith is a verb. Without action it is dead. Jesus didn’t just tell us He was God’s Son, He showed us by healing the sick and raising the dead–and going to the Cross. Thousands believed because of what He did. Can we as children of God make that claim?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I don’t want to be just a hearer of the Word but a doer as well. I want to live out my faith on earth, knowing that the more I act on my faith for Your glory, the more my faith will grow. Holy Spirit, fill me with Your power and boldness, in Jesus’ name, that others may see Your great works in me and glorify our Father in Heaven. Amen.
