Today’s Promise is John 14:16 NKJV:
“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.”
Devotion:
No matter how things may look, if we believe on Jesus, we are never alone. The Holy Spirit guides our steps, enlightens the Word, helps us discern good from evil, teaches us, and gives us the strength, courage, and love we so often lack. Learning to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in our lives, through obedience, prayer, and exercising our faith is what keeps us from feeling alone. Press into the Holy Spirit, and feel His presence in and around you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit dwelling in me “forever.” Help me press in to You, in Jesus’ name, and open my spiritual eyes and ears, that I may feel Your presence in every situation. Amen.
