Today’s Promise is Psalm 53:2 NKJV:
“God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.”
Devotion:
When we set our hearts on knowing our Heavenly Father, it’s not as if we are setting out to find a father who gave us up for adoption and wants nothing to do with us. On the contrary, God is more like the father whose child was stolen from Him. He will go to any lengths to hold us in His arms again. In fact He has already paid the greatest ransom for us–His only begotten Son.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me so much! Help me to receive and accept Your love, that I might know Your deepest heart and share it with my lost brothers and sisters. Help me to show them they are loved and wanted, too, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
