Today’s Promise is Luke 8:17 NKJV:
“For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.”
Devotion:
There is nothing on earth that can be hidden from God. We may be able to hide our weaknesses and sin from one another, but only for a time. All of our deeds, good and bad, will eventually be revealed for all to see. It is better that we abandon the shadows altogether, and walk in God’s light, letting our Savior cover our shortcomings and testifying to His goodness. Then all that will be revealed in the end will be our faith, and His glory!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to walk in Your Light, in Jesus’ name, that I may not be ashamed when I stand before You. Help me remember that nothing is hidden from You, for Your eyes are always upon me. The eyes of others are on me as well. Help me to bring You glory in all I say and do. Amen.
