Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Psalm 15:1-2 NKJV:
“Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart.”
Devotion:
The blood of Christ is not a makeshift covering to get us by in our sin until we get to Heaven, as were the sacrifices of the former Covenant. It is the means of purifying us from sin by first making us aware of it and then empowering us to let it go. God’s Kingdom is here and now, but just as the priests of old, we must be cleansed and sanctified to walk in it. When we humble ourselves before the Lord, He will abide in us always, making His ways our ways. Then it won’t be our good works of obedience, but His good work in us.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me through Your Spirit to submit to Your purifying fire, in Jesus’ name, that I might walk in Your presence and power, glorifying You on earth as You are in Heaven. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
