Today’s Promise is 2 Timothy 4:18 CJB:
“The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.“
Devotion:
Are you under attack? That’s a good indication that you are making a difference for the Kingdom of God. The beautiful thing about abiding in the Lord is the hedge of protection He places over us in the form of His angels around us and His Spirit within us. When we remain focused on God, He is faithful to rescue us. He is our front line and our rear guard, leaving us free to do what we are called to do. So, don’t let up! And don’t be distracted by the desire to defend yourself. The King of Kings is defending you!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your covering over me. Your faithfulness has made me free to worship You in the midst of enemy attack. I will trust in You in all things, Lord, that You may be glorified, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
