Today’s Promise is Isaiah 26:3 NKJV:
“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.”
Devotion:
The word “stayed” here holds the idea of resting or leaning on God. When Jesus is the focus of our lives, we can trust Him to meet our every need. The more we lean on Him, the more His peace becomes our reality. Don’t waste your time believing what your eyes see and your ears hear. Believe only in the sovereignty of the All Mighty God, and His Son–the Prince of Peace! If peace is what you crave, go to the source.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me so much that You want to set me free from worry. Please, forgive me for the times I have chosen the drama of stress and worry over You, Lord. Please, help me keep my eyes on You alone, that I might walk in Your perfect peace, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
