Today’s Promise is 1 Chronicles 22:13 NKJV:
“Then you will prosper, if you take care to fulfill the statutes and judgments with which the Lord charged Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and of good courage; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
Devotion:
What the world sees as a list of “don’t”s and “can’t”s, we who know and love the Lord recognize as a guide to a richer, fuller life. And what was once a yoke of burden, has become, through Christ Jesus, the freedom and peace the world strives for but will never know apart from Him. God’s Torah should be a constant source of praise and worship for those who strive for the presence of God in their lives. For, through the work of His precious Son, He has written His Word on our hearts and our cups overflow.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Torah! Seal me with Your Word in Christ Jesus and make it a part of me. Give me faith to walk in Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name, fulfilling Your design for my life, and glorifying You on earth as You are in Heaven, that my joy made be full. Amen!
