Blessings!
Today’s Promise is 1 John 3:3 NIV:
“All who have this hope in Him purify themselves, just as He is pure.”
Devotion:
Unlike the enemy, the Holy Spirit doesn’t reveal our faults to condemn us, but to show us where we are falling short and what is standing in the way of receiving His blessings. When we submit to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, humbling ourselves by repenting, that we purify ourselves. This is how He sets our spirits free to receive His full blessing–and release it into the world. This is how we can walk fully in Him.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your purifying fire. Help me to embrace Your chastisement, Lord, in Jesus’ name, knowing that You wouldn’t correct me, if You didn’t love me. Amen.
