Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Luke 8:5 NIV:
“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up.”
Devotion:
Just as we sow for God’s Kingdom, Holy Spirit is constantly sowing seeds of God’s truth into our hearts. And just as we are in the world, and the seed we sow doesn’t always take root, the seed Hold Spirit sows into our hearts can fall on soil that has been trampled down and hardened by life. There are many people used by the enemy to trample or steal this precious seed, through fear, or negativity, or jealousy. Don’t let them! Be vigilant. Press into the Lord and trust Him to cultivate, soften, and enrich the soil of your spirit so the seed will take root and grow.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I want to be a fertile field for Your truth to grow in and multiply. Help me surrender to the till, in Jesus’ name, that I may not let one seed be wasted or stolen from me. Amen!
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
