Today’s Promise is Job 12:16 CJB:
“With him are strength and common sense; both the misled and those who mislead are his.”
Devotion:
My greatest source of peace comes in knowing that nothing is beyond God’s control. Not even those who mislead others or those who follow after them. As a child of the King, nothing touches me without my Father’s approval. I may not always like what touches me, in fact some things are excruciatingly painful. But I would rather be at the mercy of an all-powerful God who loves and wants to bless and grow me, than an evil fallen angel who wants only to steal, kill, and destroy. I may not always understand God’s ways, but I know I can always trust Him. So can you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are in control of all things, not just the good. To You be the glory, for You are worthy of my worship and praise, even when I’m hurting, because You love me, and what You have in store for me is greater than I could ever imagine! Your grace will see me through anything. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
