Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Galatians 6:7 CJB:
“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Devotion:
It’s difficult to watch people behave immorally, dishonestly, rudely, pridefully, deceptively, or any other way that is contrary to Jesus’ example of love. Especially when the people acting this way call themselves Christians. Other people may be fooled into believing that this is acceptable behavior to God, but God is no pushover. They will reap what they sow. But, if we take pleasure in this knowledge, we are no better than they are. If we want to receive God’s love and mercy we should be on our knees, sowing love and mercy, praying for the eyes of the deceived to be opened, that they may repent and be spared. This pleases the Lord, for they are our brothers and sisters, and we are all His kids. What are you sowing with your words and actions?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, forgive me for the seeds of unrighteousness I have sown, knowingly and unknowingly, in Jesus’ name. Open the eyes of the blind, that we may see You and be filled with Your love. That we may sow love and mercy and reap the same. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
