Today’s Promise is Isaiah 26:12 NKJV:
“Lord, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us.”
Devotion:
This promise was spoken some 700 years before the birth of the Prince of Peace. Even longer before the Holy Spirit was given to reveal our true identities and empower us to fulfill them. Can there be any doubt that our Father created us for a life of peace and purpose? We need only ask Him and He will reveal that purpose. True peace comes with the realization that the only thing God expects from us is two words: “Yes, Lord!”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, establish me in Your peace. Help me to trust that You are in control and that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Help me surrender to You completely, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
