Today’s Promise is Joshua 1:8 CJB:
“Yes, keep this book of the Torah on your lips, and meditate on it day and night, so that you will take care to act according to everything written in it. Then your undertakings will prosper, and you will succeed.”
Devotion:
Many professed believers have forsaken this truth today, mistakenly believing that Jesus did away with the Law. But this promise remains as constant as God himself. Committing His Word to heart, speaking it and meditating on it daily, combined with the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit working within us, is not only the key to Heaven, but the key to success in life on earth. Our Father has provided all we need to live life to the fullest, but the choice to receive and use this key is ours to make.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and Your Spirit. Help me to commit Your Word to heart, in Jesus’ name, meditating on it day and night, that my path may be clear and I may succeed in all I do, forever bringing You glory.
