Today’s Promise is Psalm 91:1 NKJV:
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Devotion:
Did you know that God’s “secret place” is no longer secret to those who are in Christ? Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:6 that God “raised us up with the Messiah Yeshua and seated us with Him in heaven”(CJB). Past tense. Jesus has given us the same access to the Father that Moses, and He Himself enjoyed. Are you willing to climb the mountain to the Holy Place?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I want to dwell in Your secret place. Help me to leave everything behind: possessions, stress, guilt, insecurities, demands, preconceived beliefs . . . and press in to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
