Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Numbers 6:22-27 NKJV:
“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: ‘Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, “This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”
‘So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.’”
Devotion:
This is the Aaronic Blessing spoken over God’s chosen people by His command. It wasn’t an option. This is the sound of God’s voice expressed through His priests. Are you one of God’s chosen? How about your spouse? Children? Grandchildren? This blessing is prayed over our children after the lighting of the Shabbat candles, which is wonderful, but if we are to take our calling as a royal priesthood seriously, we should be praying this over our entire families, and the body of Christ every day. When we bless one another in the name of the Lord, speaking God’s own words over one another, God is faithful to multiply our blessings. Make this blessing a daily prayer and watch how God responds!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Let me be Your voice, in Jesus’ name. You are a God of blessing! You will not withhold any good thing from those You love. Let me not withhold any good thing from those You love either. But let me be lavish with blessings, love, and grace. Especially to those who hurt me. For You make all things new, and nothing and no one is beyond your love. Amen!
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
