Promise of the Day: Treasure Hunt

Blessings!

Today’s Promise is Proverbs 2:3-5 NKJV:

“Yes, if you cry out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding,
If you seek her as silver,

And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And find the knowledge of God.”

Devotion:

Who doesn’t want to understand the fear of the Lord? To know Him so well, you no longer question the whys and hows of what He does, but just rest in the peace of His sovereignty? God wants you to know Him. No longer does He hide Himself behind a curtain, but He has given His Son as a sacrifice, that you might have access to Him, and all of His knowledge. And not just once a year, as the High Priests of old, or once a week sitting in a pew at church, but twenty-four/seven. The greatest knowledge of all, which opens the door to all other knowledge, is His immeasurable love for you! That is the knowledge that can change the world.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, open my spiritual eyes and ears wide, In Jesus’ name, that I may see You and hear You! Grant me discernment and understanding above all else, that I may comprehend with all saints what is the length, the width, the breadth, and the height of Your love for me. The love that transforms me from the inside out, that I may know You fully. Amen.

Have a victorious day in the Lord!
