Today’s Promise is Galatians 3:26, 27 NKJV:
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”
Devotion:
The enemy has done his best to divide the body of Christ, through the spirits of pride and fear. The father of all lies has used men to take the beautifully simple Gospel of Jesus Christ and pervert it into various doctrines of the flesh, taking away what offends people, or adding more rules to usurp the authority of our Anointed Head, Jesus Christ, and His Helper, the Holy Spirit, and impose Satan’s will on the church. But despite all the efforts of the enemy, there remains only one denomination in the family of God. The Sons of God. One Heart, one Mind, one Spirit. Not the heart, mind, and spirit of a certain denomination or belief, but those of the Father. Have you put on Christ?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bind and rebuke the spirits of fear and pride that keep Your church from unity. Open the eyes of the blind, Lord, and pour out Your Spirit on us all, that we might be one, even as You are one. That we might finally worship You in Spirit and in Truth. Amen.
