Blessings Friends,
What a thrilling time to be in the Kingdom of God! I hope you all are taking full advantage of this time we call the High Holy Days.
My family has been so blessed since we began observing these sacred times of meeting, invitations from the Most High God himself!
In this Appointed Time of “complete rest for remembering, a holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar,” (Lev. 23:24 CJB) we are reminded to examine our hearts and seek the Lord as we eagerly await the return of King Jesus.
This year, in the early hours of Yom HaZikaron, I had a night vision of a young boy. The boy was radiating light and ascending slowing in midair. He was addressing Satan, who stood before him. In this vision I was both observing over Satan’s shoulder and in the boy at the same time.
There was no fear in the boy as he spoke to Satan, only power and a fierce determination. This is what he said,
“You have attacked me and attacked me, again and again! You have tried to shake me and take me out! But know this; every one of your attacks has only made me stronger!”
I really needed that! But the Lord has shown me that I’m not the only one. As I prayed into this vision I saw that this boy represented the Spirit of Sonship, meaning the children and heirs of God.
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 NIV
And his youth speaks to the childlike faith we have in Christ, that no matter our circumstances, we are “more than conquerors.” The childlike faith to walk fully in the power of the Holy Spirit.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 NIV
In fact, the vision was the very embodiment of the eighth chapter of Romans. I encourage you who have been under unrelenting attack to meditate on the truth found in this message to the children of God, Romans, Chapter 8. Soak in it until it seeps deep into your heart and becomes your truth.
Know that this new year in the Hebrew calendar, 5778, is a year of new beginnings, and step into your new beginning.
You are not a victim! You are a sharp double-edged sword in the hand of the Living God! Forged in fire, formed with hammer and anvil, sharpened on the Stone!
Trust in the Hand that wields you, and know that in this season you will be stronger than ever!
“That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10 NIV
God’s grace and peace be yours,
Rebecca
