Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Romans 8:28 NKJV:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Devotion:
Let me just define the term “all things” for you. It’s the Greek word pas, meaning “each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything.” It’s all good in Him. That is why we can praise Him no matter what happens. There is a Hebrew tradition during Sukkot, where we wave a Lulav and Etrog, a collection of three species of plants and a citron fruit. This is a reminder that everything that comes into our lives, from above, below, east, west, north, and south, comes from God, and we give thanks for that. This is a difficult concept for some people, but consider this, we don’t see all of time at a glance, as God does. We only see the here and now, and we must trust that God is in control. We may not see it, but there is a big picture, and for those who trust Him, it is beautiful.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for having a plan and a purpose for my life. Help me trust and praise You, no matter what my circumstances are, in Jesus’ name. For You live in the praises of Your people, and I want You to live in me! Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
