Today’s Promise is James 1:5 NKJV:
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Devotion:
Were you ever afraid to ask a question in school because you thought you’d be laughed at? Maybe you did ask and were laughed at? We don’t have to worry about that with our Father. He loves it when we ask questions, because that means we are seeking Him. No question is silly to God. We can ask Him anything. He wants us to know Him and He is the only source of wisdom. He gladly reveals Himself and the secrets of His Kingdom to those who diligently seek Him.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, if anyone needs wisdom, it’s me. You are the source of wisdom, and I come to You in the name of Jesus, asking that You grant me the Spirit of Wisdom, in Jesus’ name, that I may know You better each day, and glorify You on earth as You are in Heaven. Amen!
