Today’s Promise is Ephesians 5:14 NIV:
“This is why it is said: ‘Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’”
Devotion:
Those who lived through the London Blitz know all too well that sleeping did not stop the enemy’s bombs from dropping into their backyards. The enemy has declared war against the Saints of God, make no mistake, and there are no conscientious objectors in God’s army. It’s time to wake up, put on the full armor of God, and learn how to wield the mighty Sword of the Spirit. Remember, our Commander-in-chief is undefeated.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, fill me with Your Spirit of Truth, in Jesus’ name, that He may train me up to be a mighty warrior in Your army. Amen
