Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Philippians 4:19 NKJV:
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Devotion:
The world’s economy says, “Take care of yourself first. Then, if you feel like it, help others with whatever is left over.” This seems natural and logical. But our God is not natural, He is supernatural. His economy says, “Bring ME the first of your earnings. Take care of your brothers and sisters first, and not only will I provide for them, I will also provide for your needs in abundance!” This prophetic promise was spoken by Paul to the church in Philippi after he had received provisions from them. He was not rejoicing in his own windfall, but in the blessings their obedience to God had released–for them! You never have to think twice about investing in God’s Kingdom. Your Father owns the Bank of the Universe–and He is a generous Father!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me stop seeing dollar signs and see only Your ability and desire to provide. Make me a river of Your financial blessing, pouring out into Your Kingdom as You pour out into me. Help me to remember, in Jesus’ name, that it is my giving that opens the Heavens for my receiving. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
